A gentle place to begin

Your belly after birth deserves care, too.

Pregnancy and birth change your body in many ways. Your abdominal wall, core, pelvic floor and scar tissue may all need time and support as you recover.

This workshop brings together gentle movement, practical education and hands-on self-care to help you understand what is happening in your body and what you can do to support it.

No matter where you are in your postpartum journey, you’re welcome — from around 6–8 weeks postpartum onwards.

What we’ll explore

With Samira

Gentle yoga & core reconnection

We’ll begin with gentle, diastasis-recti-friendly movement to reconnect with your breath, abdominal wall and core.

You’ll explore simple movements you can take into your everyday life — without pushing or forcing your body.

With Laura

Understanding diastasis recti

What exactly is diastasis recti? What happens to your abdominal wall during pregnancy and after birth?

We’ll cover the basics, practical exercises and ways to support your recovery, with time for questions.

With Sona

Scar care & self-massage

Whether you have a C-section scar, another abdominal scar, or a scar from a vaginal birth, we’ll explore gentle ways to support scar healing and care, including simple self-massage techniques.

Laura will also share a little from her own postpartum experience — what she wished she had known and what helped.

Practical and personal

You’ll leave with

  • A better understanding of your postpartum abdominal recovery
  • Simple movements to reconnect with your core
  • Practical knowledge about diastasis recti
  • Gentle scar-care and self-massage techniques
  • Ideas you can continue practising at home
  • A little more confidence and connection with your changing body

Come as you are

Who is this for?

Any body, at any stage of postpartum recovery.

You can join from around 8 weeks postpartum onwards, whether you gave birth vaginally or by C-section.

You don’t need diagnosed diastasis recti or a scar to benefit. You also don’t need any previous yoga experience.

This workshop is for you if you want to:

  • understand your body better after birth
  • reconnect with your belly and core
  • learn more about diastasis recti
  • learn how to care for a scar
  • get practical tools for your continued recovery

A little time just for you

This is a baby-free and partner-free workshop. Not because babies aren’t welcome — but because sometimes it’s valuable to have 90 minutes where you can focus completely on yourself, your body and your recovery.

Come in comfortable clothes and give yourself some space to slow down, learn and reconnect.
